For the first time, this year, tickets to the main event on Christmas Eve and Rehearsal Night are on sale at the same time. Tickets available via Ticketek.

Seating options:

There are two main seating areas at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl - the reserved seated stalls section and general admission in the lawn area. 

Both sections are wonderful options but remember that all seating is limited!

Babes in Arms: 

Children under the age of 2 years may be admitted at no cost and without a ticket, on the lap of a parent or guardian.

Accessible Seating:

For Accessible Seating please complete Ticketek's Accessible Seating Booking Form and a member of their team will be in touch. Alternatively, you can call 1300 665 915 Ticketek's Accessible Seating booking line if you require special access, wheelchair or companion card seating, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (AEDT).

Christmas Eve tickets

The Carols by Candlelight event on Christmas Eve is a magical Melbourne experience. There are a several options for seating on both the lawn and in the stalls. Stalls seating increases in price closer to the stage and sells out quickly, so don't miss out!

This year, all attendees on Christmas Eve will receive a complimentary glowstick so we can light up the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and make it the brightest carols yet!

Rehearsal Night Tickets

The Rehearsal Night is a great opportunity to experience the magic of Carols by Candlelight in a more casual environment. Remember, this is a working rehearsal, but not a dress rehearsal, so you may hear some of your favourite Christmas songs a couple of times as the artists perfect their performances!

 

Please note:

  • VIP Lawn ticket holders will receive an assigned lawn chair in a premium position, while General Admission ticket holders will choose a position on the remainder of the lawn, or within the Stalls, subject to availability.
  • Children under the age of 2 years may be admitted at no cost and without a ticket, on the lap of a parent or guardian.
  • **Rehearsal Night GA and VIP Lawn concession rates are available to valid pension, healthcare, low income and student card holders, and legally blind/low vision patrons.
