With a remarkable legacy of supporting children who are blind or have low vision, Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight, presented by AAMI, is set to light up the iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl once more when it returns this Christmas Eve.

Tickets to Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight presented by AAMI are available NOW at Ticketek for Christmas Eve as well as rehearsal night on December 23.

This year, Carols by Candlelight celebrates its 86th year. From its modest beginnings in 1938, this event has evolved into a magical institution, captivating audiences and spreading joy for generations.

Beyond its extraordinary performances, Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight is also their largest annual fundraiser, with all proceeds going towards services for children who are blind or have low vision. This year Australians will once again come together to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas while making a difference in the lives of those in need.

Anticipate a mix of familiar and new stars who will take to the stage to perform everyone’s favourite Christmas songs and carols, including Casey Donovan, Denis Walter, Marina Prior, David Hobson, Simon Gleeson and Silvie Paladino with more exciting additions to be unveiled in November.

“Together, at Carols by Candlelight, we illuminate the path to a brighter future for children who are blind or have low vision in Australia. This year, we extend a warm invitation to families and friends to unite with us in person at the magnificent Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Through this cherished tradition, we raise much needed funds to empower these extraordinary children with invaluable resources, tailored education, and essential, holistic support. We help them live the life they choose, and ensure they embark on a journey toward a more hopeful tomorrow,” said Ron Hooton, Vision Australia CEO.

AAMI, Australia’s leading personal insurer, proudly sponsors Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight, acknowledging its significance as an adored Christmas tradition and fundraiser
